The City of Pottsville’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., implementing some traffic and parking changes.
The parade will begin on West Market Street, between North 12th and 14th streets. The parade will proceed from that location east on West Market Street and turn south onto North Second Street. The parade will then travel east on Mahantongo Street, north on South Centre Street and finally west on Laurel Boulevard before ending at North Third Street and Laurel Boulevard.
Temporary parking restrictions along the parade route will take effect starting at 8 a.m. and motor vehicle traffic will be banned from the route from approximately 10:30 through 11:30 a.m.
