A man is in custody after a shooting in Pottsville Saturday Morning.
According to Skook News, Pottsville Police Chief Richard Wojciechowsky said around 3:30am, police investigated an incident at 319 W. Arch Street in which a Pottsville man was struck in the head with a handgun and then shot in the right forearm by 38 year old John Liptok Sr., of Pottsville.
The victim was transported from the scene to a medical facility for treatment and later released.
Liptok was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi, Tremont, and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $100,000.00 bail.
