Stabbing suspect in custody...

A stabbing in Schuylkill Haven early Sunday morning sent two men to trauma centers and left a woman with less severe injuries.

According to the Republican Herald, the stabbings were the second of two crimes committed by 24 year old Roy Hogan Jr., of Cressona, within hours of each other. Schuylkill Haven police said the incidents unfolded about 4:20 a.m. when officers responded to a home on Orchard Avenue for a report of a forced break in and violation of a Protection from Abuse order.

It was reported that Hogan forced his way into the home in violation of the no contact PFA order and then fled the area before officers arrived.

Hogan then returned to the home around 7:25 a.m., broke in again and this time stabbed two men and a woman.

Both men who were stabbed were flown by helicopters to regional trauma centers while the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

Hogan was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi, Tremont, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $100,000 bail.
