A Shenandoah man was jailed Monday after he reportedly threatened a woman with a knife.
Shenandoah police were called to the home of 23 year old Christopher Bagenstose, whose girlfriend, the victim, Nicole Baynum told authorities he threatened to take her to a local stripping pit, slice her throat and leave her there.
The officers charged Bagenstose in connection with the incidents that occurred between 1:20 and 3:30 p.m.
Bagenstose was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Christina E. Hale, Frackville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $15,000 straight cash bail.
He will now have to answer to the charges against him at a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker, Shenandoah.
