A charter bus transporting North Schuylkill students on a field trip in Maryland, Friday morning, was involved in a crash.
According to Skook News, North Schuylkill officials said the Catawese bus was transporting 9th Grade and diversity club students on a field trip to the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC when it was involved in a minor accident at the intersection of Route 15 and Creamery Road in Frederick County, Maryland, around 9:30am Friday morning.
There were 2 other Catawese buses with students on board but were not involved in the crash.
According the Frederick County Fire & Rescue, 52 people were on board including 47 students, 4 chaperone adults, and the driver of the bus. All occupants were evaluated at the scene and were returned home uninjured.
