The victim of a crash in West Mahanoy Township on Thursday has been identified.
According to Skook News, emergency personnel were called to the "Y" intersection of Route 924 and Ringtown Boulevard, north of Shenandoah around 1:20pm, for a single vehicle accident.
A Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner identified 96 year old John Markosky, of Shenandoah, as the victim of the fatal crash.
A virtual autopsy has been scheduled but a medical emergency is thought to have been the cause of the crash.
West Mahanoy Township Police are investigating the crash.
