Free Smoke Alarms...




The Ashland Fire Department and the American Red Cross are going to team up to canvass the borough and install more smoke alarms. 

According to Skook News, volunteers from the Ashland Fire Department, American Red Cross, and organizations will be going door to door to install smoke alarms in homes, on Saturday, March 23rd

This campaign will focus on homes on Spruce, Pine, and Brock Streets as volunteers will be going door to door, asking residents if they can install brand new smoke alarms wherever they are needed in the homes for free.

 Those who would like to preregister, and any other residents in the borough of Ashland who is interested in free smoke alarms, should contact the borough office at (570) 875-2411.
