Emergency personnel were called out to an early morning house fire in Ashland.
According to Skook News, fire crews were called out around 1:15am to the 300 Block of Walnut Street, for a working structure fire.
Upon arrival, the front of the home was fully engulfed in flames and crews upgraded the fire to a 2nd alarm calling in additional units.
No one was reported to be home at the time.
Ashland Fire Chief Phillip Groody reported that the fire appeared to have started in the front first floor room.
A State Police Fire Marshal has been called to determine an exact cause.
