Firefighters made quick work of an attic fire in Sheppton on Monday afternoon.
According to the Republican Herald, firefighters were dispatched about 3:45 p.m. to the unit block of West Pine Street for flames coming from the attic window of the home.
The fire occurred in a newly renovated house, one of four units in a row home, leaving two adults and two children displaced.
Authorities said minimal damage was done to the home, as the brunt of the fire was contained to the attic due to the quick response by firefighters.
The fire is under investigation by a Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal and another from East Union Township.
