Along with a travel advisory posted by PennDOT, Governor Wolf announced a State of Emergency ahead of today's snowstorm for Schuylkill County.
A State of Emergency enables the commonwealth to bypass the time-consuming bidding process to more quickly procure resources as needed and to access federal aid or resources to respond to county and citizen needs.
The State of Emergency includes multiple counties, including Berks, Columbia, Dauphin, Luzerne and Northumberland.
