Schuylkill County Coroner, Dr. David Moylan, held a press conference at the Simon Kramer Cancer Institute, Tuesday, to address rumors regarding him running for congress in the 9th congressional district.
After consideration, Moylan said he has decided not to run for a congressional seat, citing that there is more work to do in the coroner's office, referencing the opioid epidemic, virtual CAT scans and medical advances.
Moylan announced that instead of congress, he will be running for his third term as county coroner.
