Winter Storm Stella...

Pennsylvania’s Emergency Management Agency is trying to determine if the state’s Northeast towns and counties can recover the costs associated with last month’s snowstorm.

Winter Storm Stella dropped more than 2 feet of snow on the region. Officials are asking the federal government to review damage costs to determine eligibility.

Preliminary assessments suggest the region may fall short.

Gov. Tom Wolf said he may request a presidential disaster declaration in order to get assistance.
