Two men are in Schuylkill County Prison on $1 million bail each charged with drug offenses after being arrested by State Police at Reading on Saturday.
According to the Republican Herald, 55 year old Anthoney M. Haughton, of New Jersey, and 35 year old David Joseph Bainbridge Jr., of Seltzer, were arrested by state police Trooper Troy S. Greenawald, Reading.
Haughton was arrested in North Manheim Township, charged with six felony & numerous drug related misdemeanors.
Bainbridge was arrested in Mechanicsville and charged with 79 felony counts.
State police said a press conference will be held today at 1 p.m. at the state police barracks at Schuylkill Haven, to provide information about a drug trafficking investigation.
The operation named operation Seltzer was a coordinated effort by state police Troop L, the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force, and the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s office.
