Students from Schuylkill Technology Center-South Campus, in Mar Lin, helped in the construction of a pavilion at the John F. Kennedy Pool Complex and Recreation Center in Pottsville over the weekend.
According to the Republican Herald, Students from the north campus in Frackville will also work on the pavilion as part of a school project, doing cosmetic work to the building, installing siding, and building benches.
The pavilion will be able to accommodate approximately 60 people and should be completed in about two weeks.
About $14,000 was set aside for the project for materials and labor costs.
