Better Than Ezra will perform a free set as part of the Yuengling’s 190th Anniversary Summer Concertin the city.
According to the Republican Herald, the announcement was made Thursday by the Yuengling sisters.
Jessica Seiders, communications manager for D.G. Yuengling and Son Inc., said the Yuengling family paid for the band and the production. The Continued Progress Project, which is made up of the city, the Pottsville Area Development Corp. and the Pottsville Business Association, also partnered in the effort to bring for day’s activities downtown.
The band will perform at Progress Avenue and East Laurel Boulevard, July 13, at 8 p.m., with fireworks to follow around 9:30 p.m.
