A man is facing assault and other charges after he allegedly choked his mother and threatened to kill her.
According to Skook News, Shenandoah Police were dispatched to the 200 Block of West Mount Vernon St. for a disturbance. When police arrived, they learned 42 year old Michael Kilkenny was involved in an argument with his mother that became physical.
Kilkenny allegedly grabbed his mother by her throat and threatened to kill her.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000.00 cash bail.
