Riders of the Schuylkill Transportation System are encouraged to ride fixed-route buses, Thursday, April 25th, for free, in honor of National Get On Board Day.
STS encourages people to experience all the benefits that public transportation offers and will have 7 of the 10 fixed routes available.
According to the Republican Herald, National Get On Board Day was formerly known as Dump the Pump Day. The event was started to highlight the benefits of public transportation.
