Mahanoy City Police arrested two men, from the borough, that were wanted on active warrants.
According to Skook News, 44 year old Michael Chiatti was taken into custody Tuesday evening near 10th & Pine Streets on a Schuylkill County bench. He faces additional charges from that evening of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
47 year old Hector Lopez was also taken into custody in the 700 block of W Centre St. Tuesday evening. Lopez had an active warrant through Schuylkill County for failure to appear.
Both men were committed to Schuylkill County Prison.
