A Pottsville man was jailed after being arrested by police for threatening to bring a gun to a local hospital on Wednesday.
According to the Republican Herald, police were called to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street around 7:50 p.m. for a suspicious incident and learned that 60 year old William James Black III, reportedly called the hospital and threatened to bring a gun to the medical facility.
He was taken into custody, arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Stephen J. Bayer, Tamaqua, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post bail.
