Mahanoy City Police took a man into custody, on assault and other charges, early Friday. 

According to Skook News, police said 37 year old William Rodriguez, of Mahanoy City, was arrested in relation to numerous incidents that began Thursday evening around 7:00pm and continued throughout the night. 

Rodriguez was charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts. He was arraigned Friday morning by on call Magisterial District Judge James Reiley, of Pottsville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $20,000 straight cash bail.
