Mount Carmel Borough police have identified the man found deceased in a vacant home, in the borough, on Monday night.
Authorities say 28 year old Daniel Joseph Crowl, of 557 Reading Ave., West Reading was found in the 315 S. Locust St. property, by the home’s owner, Tracy Linn of Lost Creek.
Police Chief Todd Owens said Coroner James Kelley was able to make contact with Crowl's next of kin, which includes a grandmother in Elysburg, a cousin in Maryland and a wife who lives in an unknown location.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say no foul play is suspected.
