A response to a cardiac arrest in the borough of Girardville, Wednesday, night uncovered a stash of weapons, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
According to the Republican Herald, police and EMS were called about 8:20 p.m. to a home at 310 A St. for a report of a cardiac arrest. At the scene emergency crews found 24 year old David Wasner inside the home unresponsive and turning blue.
Crews were able to revive Wasner and transported him to a Pottsville hospital for further treatment where he later admitted to using heroin prior to the incident.
During the incident, police found a large amount of rifles, ammunition, knives and swords and items of drug paraphernalia in the home.
Authorities say Wasner will be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and checks will be made on the weapons to see if they were legally purchased.
