54 year old Theodore Sadoski has been charged with arson and assault after setting a kitchen on fire during a police incident on Saturday.
According to Skook News, State Police at Frackville responded to the report of a domestic disturbance at a home on Goose Pond Road, in East Brunswick Township, around 2:00pm.
When police arrived they learned that a female victim had fled to a neighboring home after reportedly being struck with a club and threatened by Sadoski, who then set fire to the kitchen and fled to a wooded area.
A search was initiated where Sadoski was found as a passenger in a vehicle and taken into custody without incident.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
