The Polls are open in Schuylkill County today for the 2018 Pennsylvania primary election.
Pennsylvania has closed primaries, meaning only members of a particular political party will be able to vote for party candidates for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House and PA governor.
The new district includes all of Carbon, Columbia, Lebanon, Montour and Schuylkill counties and parts of Berks, Luzerne and Northumberland counties.
Those who need a ride to the polls can call the county Democratic headquarters, at 570-622-3155 or Republican headquarters at 570-622-1540.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
