Giant Food has issued a voluntary recall of veggie burgers due to a possible listeria contamination.
According to a press release the products affected include Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burger, 10 oz., UPC 8086800010, with best by dates of 1/27/18, 2/3/18, 2/9/18, 3/8/18, 3/23/18 & 4/13/18.
The company stated it has not received any reports of illness at this time, but the burgers contain vegetables that are part of the recent CRF Frozen Foods recall.
The company recommends that customers who purchased the affected products throw them away and take their receipts to Giant for a refund.
