A large fire destroyed a long time family business in Schuylkill County, Monday.
Just before 6:00pm, emergency personnel were called to Lehr’s Feed & Farm Supplies, at 10 Snyder Avenue, in Pine Grove, for a fully involved commercial fire.
Police were the first on scene where they found flames shooting 20 feet into the air.
The fire was quickly upgraded to a 2nd alarm calling in additional units from Schuylkill Haven, Minersville and Pottsville. The feed mill business was destroyed by the fire that also spread to a nearby storage garage.
Authorities say one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The business was closed at the time of the fire and a State Police Fire Marshall has been called to determine the cause of the blaze.
