There have been no new leads in the case of a 25-year-old Shamokin man who was reported missing by his family a week ago.
An extensive search was conducted last Friday for Daniel Hollick by volunteers from Northeast Search and Rescue in Stroudsburg, canine units, a state police helicopter, family members and other volunteers in wooded areas off Interstate 81 and Route 901 near Schuylkill County Airport and Lowes Distribution Center in the Highridge Business Park, but no signs of the man were reportedly found.
Police told Raup that Hollick’s cell phone last pinged a tower in Virginia, where a search also was conducted for the missing man with negative results.
Anyone with information about Hollick is urged to call Shamokin police at 570-648-5708, state police at Frackville at 570-874-5300.
