A man who fled the Pottsville police over the weekend was located about 12 hours later and then jailed.
According to the Republican Herald, 36 year old Lyle T. McCulley was wanted on a felony warrant. Police were unsuccessful in apprehending McCulley after receiving a tip that he was inside a residence at 818 Main St., but later took him into custody without incident after he was located hiding inside a residence at 514 Wallace St.
Police said McCulley was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James K. Reiley, Pottsville, on the existing felony warrant for burglary along with new charges of felony criminal trespass in connection with the recent incident.
McCulley was then committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $25,000 bail.
