Schuylkill County officials say additional air quality testing needs be done inside the county courthouse in Pottsville to ensure the building poses no health risks to employees or visitors.
Some county employees say they're being sickened by something in the building and they suspect mold or radon gas. However initial tests showed no sign of mold and acceptable levels of radon set by the E.P.A.
County commissioners say they have spent about 57-thousand dollars thus far on testing at the courthouse and are not sure what it will cost for more testing but say price is not a factor when it comes to ensuring the courthouse is a safe place to work and visit.
