The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that 35 year old Derek Mountz, of Schuylkill Haven, was sentenced on May 6, by Senior U.S. District Court Judge A. Richard Caputo, for participating in a drug trafficking conspiracy that distributed heroin and methamphetamine in the Schuylkill County area in 2016.
According to Skook News, US Attorney David J. Freed said Mountz previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute more than 100 grams of heroin and more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
He was sentenced to 105 months’ imprisonment followed by four years on supervised release.
