5 Arrested from incident at Sheetz...
by News Department on 07/07/15An incident Friday at the Sheetz in Pottsville has five people in custody.
According to the Pottsville Police, officers saw 23 year old Tyler R. McNulty, of Schuylkill Haven, inside Sheetz and knew of an existing arrest warrant against him by Schuylkill County Adult Probation.
McNulty was taken into custody and found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
The officers then found 23 year old Kyle F. Lombel, also of Schuylkill Haven, who was with McNulty and was hiding in the bathroom. Lombel was also taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers also took into custody 26 year old Gianfranco Dovidio, of Pottsville, who was wanted on a warrant from the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office.
Dovidio was found with a stun gun and drug paraphernalia.
All three were committed to Schuylkill County Prison from the scene on their outstanding warrants.
While still on the scene, police saw two people, identified as 18 year old Seth Savitsky, of Pottsville, and 21 year old and Brianna Jo Schaeffer, of Cressona, hiding behind McNulty’s vehicle in the parking lot.
Savitsky was reportedly in possession of a .22-caliber revolver, five boxes of .22-caliber ammunition and a spring loaded knife. Savitsky was placed under arrest on charges of felony firearms not to be carried without a license and possession of offensive weapons.
He was then committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post bail. Schaeffer was reportedly to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and will be charged.
