The opening of a medical marijuana dispensary at the Schuylkill Trust building, 101 N. Centre St., will be delayed.
According to the Republican Herald, an extension from the state Department of Health is being requested due to needed construction within the building.
The state DOH awarded the medical marijuana dispensary permit on Dec. 18, 2018 after Gov. Tom Wolf signed Senate Bill 3 into law.
The new dispensary is expected to be open at the end of July or beginning of August.
