Earthquake rumbles thru PA...




No injuries or damages were reported as a result of an earthquake that sent tremors across central Pennsylvania at around 9 p.m. Wednesday. 

The U.S. Geological Survey reports the epicenter of the magnitude 3.4 quake was about 11 miles southwest of Mifflintown at a depth of nearly 17 miles. 

Tremors were felt in several counties, including Northumberland and Schuylkill. As of 8:04 a.m. Thursday, a total of 1,366 people reported to the U.S. Geological Survey that they felt the rumble of the earthquake. 

Allen Weaver, director of emergency services for Juniata County, also said no injuries or damages were reported.
