A bomb squad K-9 unit searched the home of Carbon County attorney Gerald Strubinger Jr. after his office and home were both threatened Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect in question for the threats was John Large, who is wanted by the Lansford Police Department and other agencies. According to Lansford police, there are multiple outstanding warrants from agencies in Northampton, Lehigh and Carbon counties.
Large is also a person of interest in other on-going cases and has addresses and connections in the borough of Lansford and has been reported to be in the area.
He was known to have been operating a Red 2008 Kia, PA registration FXW9786.
Police are warning the public not to approach Large. Instead, if sighted, residents should contact the Lansford Police at 570-645-5844 or call 911 if he is seen outside of the immediate area.
