State police at Schuylkill Haven charged a Lackawanna County man in Sunday’s home invasion in North Manheim Township.
According to the Republican Herald, 41 year old Michael Paul Miller, of Old Forge, faces multiple felony counts after authorities say he entered a garage at 16 Martha Lane in North Manheim Township, grabbed a gas can, entered the house and poured gasoline on the floor.
Miller also assaulted an unidentified 57 year old victim, who shot him.
The Republican Herald reports that a prison employee said Monday that Miller is not at the Schuylkill County Prison. An employee at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown, said Monday they did not have a record of the patient.
Police said Miller was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries he suffered in Sunday’s incident.
