One of the pair brought to justice for the killing of a Marine two years ago in Coaldale told the court Monday he accepts the years of discipline awaiting him.
According to the Republican Herald, Schuylkill County Common Pleas Judge John E. Domalakes sentenced 23 year old Oliver L. Trizarri, to 15-30 years in state prison for his role in the beating death of Corey M. Samuels, two years ago near Coaldale.
Trizarri, one of two men brought to justice in the killing, had pleaded guilty to the crime in February. His sentence was in accord with an agreement made at that time in exchange for testimony against, now 18 year old Stanley Kralik.
Trizarri expressed remorse and hope for redemption.
Kralik was convicted Wednesday of third-degree murder in a trial last week.
