A man serving a life sentence for killing another man in West Mahanoy Township in 2014 has died in prison.
According to the Republican Herald, Thomas J. Petrousky was convicted of killing 50 year old David R. Halaburda inside the home they shared on April 28, 2017.
Schuylkill County District Attorney Michael A. O’Pake said officials from the state Department of Corrections confirmed Wednesday that Petrousky died at State Correctional Institution/Benner, in Benner Township, where he was incarcerated. No information was made available as to the cause of death.
