Gunfire erupted Tuesday in the parking lot of a McDonald's in Berks County.
Authorities say the incident happened at North Ninth and Spring streets. Police are piecing together what they said led to two people being shot.
Eyewitness said the shooter pulled out a gun and fired shots before fleeing by foot down an alleyway. That's when police said they found the two victims, both, they say, were men.
Reading Police Sgt. Darrin Daugherty said both of the victims were transported to Reading Hospital for treatment.
There is no word on their condition as the investigation continues.
