The Mahanoy City Police Department has announced a program to aggressively seek out fugitives.
According to Skook News, police are engaging in the Preemptive Enforcement Program designed to aggressively seek out fugitives, to prevent offenses that affect the quality of life for the residents of the community from occurring, and to apprehend criminals in the act of crime commission.
Mahanoy City police are teaming up with area police agencies, the Borough’s Code Enforcement Department, and members of the community.
The Preemptive Enforcement Program was launched June 5th and will continue in the upcoming summer months.
