On Thursday morning, the Schuylkill County District Attorney's office delivered 12 checks totaling $14,295.80 to police departments in Schuylkill County.
According to a press release, the district attorney’s office will continue to distribute monies to police departments working with the drug task force, as the departments have worked diligently to rid communities of drug dealers and users.
The district attorney’s office commended officers who not only work their regular hours for their own departments but have also logged additional hours of overtime for the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force in a collaborative effort to combat the war on drugs.
