Along with working on Interstate 81, the state Department of Transportation maintenance personnel will be out this week doing repair and road work in 14 municipalities in Schuylkill County this week.
The work will be done in Rush, West Mahanoy, Mahanoy, Reilly, Frailey, Hegins, Hubley, Wayne, North Manheim and South Manheim townships. Workers will also conduct maintenance in Gilberton, Cressona, Tamaqua and Coaldale boroughs.
All work will start today and is scheduled for completion Friday.
Motorists will see lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in some of the municipalities. Rain delays are possible.
