General Mills Inc. is recalling three flavors of Betty Crocker cake mix sold in the United States and Canada over E. coli concerns.
A press release stated the recall includes Betty Crocker Delights Super Moist Party Rainbow Chip and Delights Super Moist Carrot cake mixes in the U.S., and Super Moist Rainbow Bit cake mix in Canada.
The flavor chips in the mixes were made by the supplier Wondra, who announced a larger flour recall on July 1 over possible E. coli contamination.
There have been no reported illnesses, but consumers are advised not to eat the raw cake mixes and to throw the recalled products away.
For more information, consumers are urged to visit the General Mills website.
