A Shenandoah man has been charged with setting a fire in Shenandoah last week. According to Shenandoah Police, 53 year old John Curley, of Shenandoah has been charged by the Pennsylvania State Police with setting the fire that damaged two garages, apartments and two unoccupied buildings across South Market Street, on July 7th, 2016.
Curley reportedly admitted to setting garbage on fire near the garage of the home.
Curley, who is being held in Carbon County Prison, Nesquehoning, on unrelated arson charges, is expected to be arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker, Shenandoah, via video conference Friday morning.
