Charges in stabbing...




A man is in jail after a stabbing over the weekend, in Shenandoah.

 According to police, the incident began just after 3:00pm Friday, when 52 year old Enrique Torres, of Shenandoah allegedly stabbed Benjamin Vadiz during a fight in the Shenandoah Rite Aid parking lot.

 Authorities said Torres and Vadiz got into an altercation over loud music near the One Stop. 

Torres was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi, Tremont, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail. Vadiz was taken to the hospital treatment of lacerations to his back and face.
