Aggressive Driving Enforcement...




Tamaqua, West Penn and Rush Township Police have joined the Pennsylvania State Police and over 235 municipal agencies to conduct targeted aggressive-driving enforcement.

As part of the Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project, the third Wave will aim to reduce the number of aggressive -driving related crashes, injuries and deaths throughout the State. 

Any aggressive driver stopped by police will receive a ticket. 

The aggressive driving enforcement is a part of the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project, PADEEP, and is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The law enforcement activities will be conducted continually throughout the municipalities and townships thru August 28th.
