A Lebanon County man is in custody after a two-hour standoff Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the standoff began around 1:30pm when Lebanon County Adult Probation Office went to a home in the 100 Block of Spring St. in Tremont to serve an arrest warrant on Christoper Hopkins, of Lebanon County.
Hopkins refused to come out and barricaded himself inside a home. Around 3:30pm, after several unsuccessful attempts to contact Hopkins, police forced their way into the home and took him into custody.
Hopkins was turned over to Lebanon County Adult Probation agents and returned to that county to face charges.
Tremont police also said charges against Hopkins are pending as the result of the standoff in their community.
