A Sunbury woman was killed and six other people hurt following a crash in Northumberland County.
Authorities say the crash happened along Route 901 near Mount Carmel around 4:45 p.m. Saturday. Fire crews say three vehicles were involved.
One car ended up in the woods. According to a Northumberland County coroner, a woman in that vehicle, 78 year old Janet Mull, of Sunbury, died at the scene.
Six others were taken to the hospital.
Route 901 was closed while police investigated the deadly crash.
