Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works are the latest stores to close at the Schuylkill Mall in Frackville.
Most stores have left, but a few remain after tenants were told by mall management in May that they had 60 to 90 days to vacate before the mall closes.
A spokesperson for L Brands, the company that owns both Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works, confirmed the last day of business at the mall was July 9. Passion Nails & Spa was also closed and Urban Hair Stylists will close Saturday.
The mall’s remaining stores include AT&T, Dunham’s Sports, Pearl Theatre Stadium 8, Blum’s Auction and Suglia’s. The AT&T store is looking to relocate and will close at the end of August. Will Waldick, manager of Pearl Theatre Stadium 8, previously stated the theatre would remain open at least until the beginning of September. Blum’s last auction will be Sept. 2.
New Castle LLC, Riverside, Missouri, purchased the mall for $2.1 million earlier this year. The mall was up for bankruptcy auction in January.
