U.S. Marshals and local police are searching a wooded area of Butler Township for Shawn Christy of McAdoo.
Christy is wanted for allegedly threatening to kill President Trump and other public officials. Marshals have confirmed that Christy allegedly broke into a relative’s home and stole three guns on Wednesday.
He also left a note for the Marshals and his family members. The contents of the note are not yet being released.
Christy has been in the run since late June.
He made his way to the Canadian border in a stolen vehicle and then allegedly stole a second vehicle and broke into the Scranton School for the Deaf two weeks ago.
Marshals say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
