A Pottsville man is $100,000 richer after winning the Millionaire Raffle game held July 9 by the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The Republican Herald reports that Edmund Rist purchased his ticket at the Sheetz on the Gordon Nagle Trail, Pottsville, and was one of four $100,000 winners in the contest.
Gary Miller, director of public relations for the Pennsylvania Lottery, said the ticket was entered into the system July 21.
Odds of winning the $100,000 were 1 in 125,000, according to the lottery.
